Social Media Community Guidelines
Last updated: May 3, 2026
Elite Consulting LA, Inc. ("ECLA," "we," "us," or "our") maintains a presence on various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram (collectively, the "ECLA Social Media Pages"). ECLA uses these channels to share information about ECLA, ECLA's bookkeeping, accounting, tax, payroll, business management, compliance, and consulting services, educational content, company updates, and other related information.
By visiting, commenting on, or otherwise interacting with ECLA's Social Media Pages, you agree to follow these Social Media Community Guidelines, in addition to the terms and conditions of each underlying platform.
Purpose, Scope, and Platforms Covered
These Guidelines are intended to:
- Promote respectful, constructive, and compliant interactions on ECLA Social Media Pages.
- Protect users' privacy and safety while supporting open and informative dialogue.
- Clarify how ECLA monitors, moderates, and responds to activity on its Social Media Pages.
These Guidelines apply to anyone who views, follows, comments on, messages, or otherwise interacts with ECLA Social Media Pages, whether or not they are clients of ECLA. They cover all current and future platforms on which ECLA maintains an official presence, including but not limited to Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
Community Values and Principles
ECLA is committed to maintaining online communities that reflect the following values:

- Personalized accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax, compliance, business management, or consulting advice.
- An offer to provide any service, guarantee any tax result, prepare any filing, resolve any tax matter, or enter into any professional engagement.
- Legal, investment, audit, assurance, or other professional advice outside the scope of a separate written agreement with ECLA.
Interactions on social media—such as "follows," "likes," "shares," "reposts," or replies by ECLA—should not be interpreted as:
- Endorsements of any person, organization, product, service, software platform, tax position, or business decision.

If you would like to discuss your specific business, bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, tax, or compliance needs, please contact ECLA directly using the contact details provided on ECLA's official website.
Moderation Approach
ECLA reserves the right, but does not have the obligation, to monitor, review, or moderate content posted on ECLA's Social Media Pages.
- Hide, edit, or delete any comment or content that violates these Guidelines, is inconsistent with ECLA's legal or professional obligations, or is otherwise inappropriate.
- Report or escalate content that may involve threats, harassment, fraud, identity theft, tax fraud, payroll fraud, or illegal activity.
- Limit or disable specific features (such as comments) on particular posts or pages.
These moderation measures may be implemented with or without prior notice. ECLA is not responsible for any consequences you may experience as a result of its moderation decisions.
Enforcement and Consequences
In addition to moderating individual posts, ECLA may take further action when users repeatedly or seriously violate these Guidelines, applicable laws, or platform terms, including:
- Issuing informal warnings or reminders.
- Removing or restricting access to specific content.
- Temporarily limiting a user's ability to comment or interact with ECLA Social Media Pages.
- Blocking, banning, or otherwise restricting a user from interacting with ECLA Social Media Pages.
- Reporting conduct to the social media platform or, where appropriate, to law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
Individuals who repeatedly violate these Guidelines may be blocked, banned, or otherwise restricted from interacting with ECLA's Social Media Pages.
Reporting Concerns and Appeals
If you see content on ECLA Social Media Pages that you believe violates these Guidelines, is unlawful, or could pose a risk to others, you are encouraged to report it by:
- Using the reporting tools provided by the relevant social media platform; and/or
- Contacting ECLA through the contact information available on ECLA's official website, identifying the platform, handle, and (if possible) a link or description of the content.
ECLA will review reports in a manner consistent with its legal obligations and internal policies. While ECLA cannot guarantee a specific response time or outcome, ECLA will determine, in its sole discretion, whether action is appropriate.
Users who believe their content was removed or restricted in error may contact ECLA using the methods above. ECLA may, but is not obligated to, reconsider moderation decisions.
Special Considerations
Certain circumstances may require additional care or restrictions, including:
- Youth and underage users: ECLA Social Media Pages are not intended for children under 13, and ECLA will remove content that appears to be posted by, or that improperly solicits information from, such individuals.
- Sensitive events and crisis situations: ECLA may limit or remove content that is graphic, exploitative, or likely to cause distress, particularly during emergencies, public health events, tax-filing deadlines, natural disasters, or other crises.
- User-generated content in campaigns, contests, or hashtags: From time to time, ECLA may invite users to interact through specific campaigns, contests, or hashtags. Additional terms may apply to those activities, and ECLA may feature, re-share, or moderate submissions in accordance with those terms and these Guidelines.
Transparency, Updates, and Questions
ECLA may modify these Social Media Community Guidelines at any time. Updates become effective when posted, and your continued use of or interaction with ECLA's Social Media Pages after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
If you have questions about these Guidelines or ECLA's use of social media, please contact ECLA using the contact information provided on ECLA's official website.
Legal and Platform Alignment
These Guidelines are intended to complement, not replace, the terms and conditions, privacy policies, engagement letters, service agreements, and other legal notices that govern ECLA's relationship with clients and website users, as well as the terms of service and community standards of each social media platform.
In the event of a conflict between these Guidelines and:
- The terms of the social media platform, the platform's terms will generally control the use of that platform.
- ECLA's formal agreements, legal terms, privacy policies, or engagement letters, those formal documents will govern ECLA's relationship with its clients and website users.
Nothing in these Guidelines modifies or supersedes any applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, or service-specific obligations that apply to ECLA or its representatives.
